Faces of Bali ist eine wahrhaft einzigartige Dokumentation über die Insel der Götter.

Im Jahr 2020/21 hat Michelle Avoca Bali in seiner echten und unverfälschten Form festgehalten. Faces of Bali porträtiert die Gemeinschaft, die auf Bali lebt – die Balinesen mit ihrer heiligen Kultur und Religion, Expats, die hoch angesehene Surfkultur, Bauern, Künstler und die unverzichtbaren Wohltätigkeitsorganisationen – all das haben wir für dieses besondere Projekt eingefangen. Sie haben uns ihre Lebensgeschichten erzählt und berichtet, wie sie während der Pandemie weitermachten. Bali, die multikulturelle Insel, auf der jeder willkommen ist, macht diesen Ort zu einem so besonderen Platz.

About Michelle Avoca

Michelle is the Founder and Author of Faces of Bali. The Face behind this unique project. She fell in love with Bali since she stepped on the island the very first time in 2015 and made it her chosen home.

 As a Photographer and Producer she always wants to create something that lasts. With Faces of Bali she also wanted to capture a part of history and create something that people look back to in years and still want to read and see what was going on in Bali 2020/21. Because especially in those times art is something that gives you hope, something that makes you want to dream more and can put you in a different world for some time.
